Welcome kvfaust our newest fellow member, thank you for joining ... Okay let's meet did you lot look below your device name and see the listing that say's documents & data? Any apps that are storing content in iCloud should be listed there. If you click on your iPad itself y'all can also delete it'south backup and then but back up your device once again creating a new re-create. Which apps are stuck?

No, at that place is non a list that says documents and data. I only see list of all the backups made for this iPad. I am a starting time form teacher, and this is a student iPad that is linked with other iPads in our class level. We are only using apps.

Ahhh, for schoolhouse iPads they are managed iPads, you lot will have to contact your network administrator to add or remove applications from managed devices ...

My goal is to increase the storage on my cloud. It states that I only have 714 MB left in storage. When I went to "Manage Storage", there is a listing of virtually 30 backups. And so I'm thinking that I should delete each of those and I will increment my storage!

You are 100% Right, if freeing up storage is your goal simply delete the unused backups

Our school commune PCs are managed by our Network Ambassador, but each form level is responsible for managing their own iPads. We add and delete our own apps equally a team. I've been deleting the apps we no longer use off the iPads. I just have figured out how to delete them off the cloud to increment our storage.

By the style, thanks Then MUCH for all of your replies so far! I profoundly appreciate it!

When you lot delete an app off of an iPad any data stored for that app in iCloud is automatically deleted.
Are all of these school iPads using the same iCloud account? Considering if so, the list of 30 backups yous run into is not 30 backups of the same device, but 1 backup per device.

Karen is 100% correct and you would have to cheque with the Network Admin and since your last post indicated that yous are good to go in that location, This becomes very simple and Karen hit that too. Once yous delete an app fro a device information technology will automatically remove itself from iCloud so that once yous practice your next iCloud backup and it does not run across it on the Pad it will remove itself from the fill-in. Give thanks you for your question.

Your "apps" are not saved to iCloud, but the apps' data is.

I is giving me trouble (it is about the airbnb app, information technology's not a skillful app for the ipad merely I get notifications from the browser to download it once more and over again even if I already deleted information technology -so I cannot check the airbnb webpage in the browser either because it is sending me automatically to the app shop to download information technology from the cloud.)

I just went to that website via my iPhone five to book a stay for examination purposes. I did Not get notified to install the app, still, in that location was a typical option to install the app if I wanted to.

I have tried your instructions but I also don't become the Documents and Apps, only the backups...

Being that you stated that yous've already uninstalled the app, I'chiliad not sure what y'all're asking or what the uninstalled app has to practice with iCloud. With your iPad'due south browser, you should exist able to login to the site you reference and go almost your business.

Deleted apps will be removed from iCloud when the side by side back up occurs. Or yous can become to iCloud in Settings and toggle the app off, and it will be removed then. Y'all can't download an app from iCloud. Y'all can only download an app from the App Store or through iTunes. Your statement about the browser is confusing. Perchance you lot could explain improve. Your browser has goose egg to do with downloading apps. Y'all will, all the same, be redirected at times to the App Store if you tap the wrong ad. I've done that. Y'all merely accept to leave the App Store and go dorsum where yous were.

You can delete apps from your device, merely you cannot delete apps from your "account". They will ever exist bachelor in the "purchased" department of the App Store and have a cloud icon next to them. You can, nevertheless, hide them from being displayed in the purchased section of the App Store. The instructions are found via the following link.
